      That 1996 movie flew under the radar back then. 

      It has everything you want for a modern audience, but apparently, strong female characters only appeared after 2016. 

      Geena Davis is a "kick ass" lady in this movie. 

      After loosing her memory 7 years ago, a nice suburban mom starts to remember who she was after a car accident and what she is,, is no less than an actual killing machine.

      Samuel Jackson is the second violin in this movie. 

      Let me just add a little background on that lady (Geena Davis) because she is actually an exceptional woman in real life.

      -She is actually super intelligent with an IQ of 140 and a member of the exclusive high-IQ society Mensa.
      -She is fluent in Swedish after spending only 1 year there as an exchange student. 
      -She is an accomplished musician.
      -A highly skilled archer who nearly qualified for the 2000 U.S. Olympic team.

      -She establish the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media in ""2004"" (not 2016) to research and address gender imbalances in children’s entertainment. 
      That lady actually did something concrete to advance her gender besides posting shit on Twitter. 

      -She has an Oscar and a Golden Globe. 

      She is the example of a real Strong and Powerful woman on and off screen, but apparently she doesn't count because this is pre 2016 and there never were any strong women before that according to "The Message". 

      If you liked "Die Hard",, you will enjoy this movie. 
      They don't make movies like this anymore and we don't get actresses like her anymore. 

      In 1996 ,this movie would score a 7/10.
      In 2026, this movie is a 9/10.
