      Widow's Bay 2026– The series is set on the fictional New England island town of Widow's Bay, which happens to be afflicted with a centuries-old curse that brings various supernatural evils upon the island. Kinda creepy/funny/quirky? It's kinda hard to explain and oh yeah suspension of disbelief in necessary. You cannot come at this show logically. You'll find yourself thinking "Why are they running?  Grab the car keys, dumbazz. Don't go in the basement" et cetera.  Humor is often deadpan, okay mostly deadpan, horror is just enough to be creepy, not horrific. This show is weird.  I just finished episode 8 and yeah when I heard "I need twenty dollars on pump three!" I lmao, which is not something I would just normally do. Any other show I would think, that's the most illogical thing a character could do. Stephen Root, wonderful character actor. Matthew Rhys, Kate O'Flynn are stars.  The episodes are short, like 32-42 minutes.
